About me
I taught in primary schools for 27 years, both in Devon for 15 years and, before that, further afield. I am fully up to date with the latest developments in the National Curriculum, having received training through my most recent school, and am familiar with current approaches to teaching and learning. I have worked as a maths subject leader in several schools and have taught all subjects to a range of ages. Most recently I have taught in Key Stage Two and have supported children with the demands of SATs. After a period of tutoring children alongside my classroom teaching, I decided to set up my own business as a full time tutor and run one-to-one sessions from my home. I tutor primary age children focusing on Key Stage Two.
